I'm having trouble with adding the Repulsion Shield to my character in the D&D Beyond builder. The artificer in our party leveled to 6 and gave me this infusion, but I can't figure out how to add it to my character sheet. Do I need to be an artificer to use it? I do have Tasha's purchased.
Should I be able to find it in manage inventory -> add item? I feel like I'm searching in circles and it's probably a very obvious answer. (I'm a Paladin 5/Warlock 1)
Artificers can only use their own infusions automatically via the sheet. If the infused item is given to another player then that player will need to homebrew it via magic item homebrewer to add it.

Oh wow, what a huge assist! Thanks for taking the time to make a tutorial. Above and beyond!
(Fair warning, I may come poking around for help on homebrewing Vampiric Bite, as I'm still noting my uses manually and can't resolve how to build in the fluctuating circumstances...)
Thanks so much for your help! Off to build this now.

Vampiric Bite, you mean like the one from the Dampire lineage? That’s pretty easy to implement. Create an Action for your race/species, and simply add Limited Uses to it. Please see the Homebrew Subclasses & Species FAQ, question #4: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq#HomebrewSubclasses&SpeciesFAQ). That will tell you how to add the checkboxes to track uses. As for those “fluctuating circumstances,” I assume you mean when you do or don’t get advantage. That’s not possible to automate. Temporary/triggered effects such as that are not supported on this site, as per the Honebrew Subclasses & Species FAQ question #2 (same link).
Awesome, thank you! I was partway there adding it to the species, but hadn't been able to add the limited uses. Is there a way to differentiate the *empowerment* specifically? That is, the vampiric bite itself doesn't have limited uses, but the option to 'empower' myself from the bite (in one of two ways) does. I'm happy to have the checkboxes there in the pop up, in any case. I'll know what they mean. Thanks again for your wealth of info!
*EDIT* I went ahead and added the 'empowerment' portion of Vampiric Bite as a separate 'special' limited use option. Worked great!

Great, thanks. Am I able to add the 'charges' via the homebrew mechanism? (I'm rusty with homebrews)
