playing a human variant sorcerer, and in my character sheet I have a racial feat available, and at first NO FEATS were appearing in the feat pull down menu.
i go to the home page, click allow on all the content sources and click allow on feat prerequisites or whatever and now i have 3 options
Grappler (unavailable due to not meeting the STR req)
Sverneblin Magic (unavailable due to being a human not gnome)
and Firearms Specialist (sorcerer not a gunslinger....)
im trying to get the War Caster feat not any of those
so Im just confused as to if i did something stupid or if this is a problem
>.> thats ******* stupid. i miss the 4e character builder.
thanks for your help i guess it wasn't a bug just a money grab
The game is not free. You can think of the basic rules as a demo version of the game and be grateful you dont have to buy the PHB to even make a character.
If you have physical books, you can use the homebrew tools to add the feats you want, just dont publish them.

Only 3 feats are free. You have to buy the rest.

I am guessing those 4e character builders didn't license the content and instead just illegally copied it.
The PHB is like $20 with discount code, and you get a well featured character building and searchable database.

@Darkmagicmagic
You had to pay a subscription fee to access the 4e builder, unless you pirated it.
Everything that is free (the SRD/Basic rules) is provided for free in the character builder.
If you want content you have to pay for, unsurprisingly you have to pay for it.
