Hey folks,

Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious here but I have a character for the Out of the Abyss adventure and the DM has shared the adventure with us on here so we could use his sources and what not. He highly suggested that my character take the substitute feature "Deep Delver" instead of the feat given to me by my background, saying it would fit my character more.

Issue is - I don't see anywhere that I could accomplish such a thing. I've tried tapping/clicking on the background to see if a customize option appeared, I've tried to create a custom background to see if the feature appeared in the drop-downs. Short of making a homebrew background I am stumped.

Has anyone performed this successfully on here or something similar and can share what I am missing?

You will need to make a homebrew background. The Custom Background only allows selection from the fully published backgrounds.

It should be pretty easy though. When you go to Create Homebrew Background, select whatever your current one is as the template.
