I just got the master account for D&D Beyond for a group of friends and I to play, but I'm not really interested in DMing. Is there a way I can assign a friend the DM spot in the campaign with my content sharing? Or possibly join his campaign and still allow content sharing? Kinda just asking what my options are.
The person with the subscription does not need to be the DM to enable sharing. Also, sharing will share the content of all accounts in the campaign, not just the DM's or subscriber's.
Your second option will work. Have them create the campaign, and then once they have invited you via the join link, you can click "Enable Content Sharing" and everyone in it will have access to all of the books that anyone in the game owns (not just yours). The DM can then selectively turn off individual books that they don't want being shared.

Thanks All! Appreciate it
