First off; totally new to D&D Beyond, but got a strange thing happening;
I created 6 characters for my friends, made sure they were public and sent them their codes. 4 of the 6 have told me they get an error message "we've rolled a 1..." the remaining 2 can see them just fine.
I've also tried creating a campaign and sending them the link so they can choose their characters, but even when they're in a campaign they get the same error message.
Once they have claimed the character, it's their character and belongs to them.
It should show up in their characters page, which they can access by hovering over their username at the top-right of the page and selecting "Characters" from the drop-down menu.

They could see the character in their menu, but when it was pressed it still showed the error message. However, I think all who tried used the mobile site, so we'll give it another go using the desktop site and see if that works. I shall report back!
Content sharing is a feature/benefit of the Master Tier subscription. It allows purchased content to be shared between members of a campaign. Both of the characters that don't have problems appear (on a very cursory glance) to use only material that is available for free here. I wondered if the others were using purchased content and if content sharing was not turned on. That might create the problems. Although I have access to all the content and I can't see the problem characters, either. Can you tell us race and class of the problem characters? And, if they are a class that gets their subclass at level 1, the subclass as well?
Here's another questions: do the usernames of your players have any "special" characters in them (i.e. characters that aren't letters or numbers?)
The links you posted above appear to be share links. Ask your players to post the actual url of their characters here. Only the mods will be able to access them, but that might tell them something more about what is going on.

Hmm. I'm also on mobile and also cant view the top 4 links, but can view the other 2. Did it work on PC?

Ah, I wouldn't have content sharing feature as I have a basic account, that's a nifty feature though!
I created all the characters, so the other players couldn't have used anything out of the ordinary; everyone would have exactly the same (free) content. The problematic characters race/class are: Halfling Cleric, Elf Fighter, Dwarf Rogue, Human Bard. All characters are level 1, all but one of us have never played D&D before (and we're very much excited to play! 😁).
As for the special characters, no. I thought maybe the hyphen could be a problem, but the 2 working character sheets also have them.
Good call on posting the character URL, I shall post them now;

It does appear to be an odd one, but with everyone's help I'm positive someone somewhere will have a light-bulb moment and all shall be good!
Going to try the PC method in a little while, it's a little too early my end to bug the players 😂. Will definitely report back though!
based on those urls, no one has claimed them yet. But I get the same error with those links. I should either be able to see the character, or get a 404 error. (In theory, only moderators can see other people’s characters from full links, and others get 404 errons but sometimes I can see the character from a full link)

Right, so are you suggesting I'll have to wait for a moderator to have a look on my behalf?
It certainly is a bit of a head-scratcher, I'm glad there's people like yourself on here to help steer folk like me in the right direction!
And just for clarification; after I tried creating an adventure and it not working, I got the characters back to my account by the same process (the other players created an adventure and invited me in) as it seemed pointless for them to have the character if they couldn't see/edit it.
Yes, I think at the point we need to wait for a moderator.
Cool cool. Would like to thank you for all your help! The fact you took the time to give advice and suggestions is really ace of you, so yeah; thanks 😁
Yeah, turns out it was a site wide problem that appears to have started small and cascaded. If you will be playing in the next couple of days, have everyone export their character to pdf as a backup. DDB warned on Facebook things could still be unstable for a few days while they get to the root of the problem.

Just for completeness, the 2 characters without issue are;

I've looked through the forums and tried numerous suggestions, but I'm now at a loss.
Any advice would be very greatly appreciated!
Once you added the characters to the campaign, did you “unassign” them? If you do, then the players can claim them.
If you did and there are still issues, is there any homebrew?
Is content sharing turned on?

I did unassign them, and they could choose their character and join the adventure, but still couldn't see or edit the character.
I've made sure any homebrew and other content are all off.
Forgive my ignorance; what do you mean my content sharing?
Thanks for replying!
Once they have claimed the character, it's their character and belongs to them.
