For some reason, I can't put this user on ignore. It only seems to be happening with this particular user. As far as I'm aware, this user has no special permissions or powers on the site.

It seems to be based on post count because the option appears for those with a low post count but does not appear for those with a high post count. Alternatively could be based on how long they've been a member.

I tested that theory and it's not correct, at least not for me. If you go to a large thread with a lot of posters with varying post counts, you'll find that some you can and some you can't and it doesn't seem to correlate at all, to anything.

Are you able to provide a mega thread (and page of comments) where you have some users you can Ignore, and some that you can't? We will ping this over to staff to see if they can lock down what is causing the difference, and any additional info will help.

Just to be clear, it's not based on the thread itself, it's entirely user-based. So regardless of what thread I see them in, I don't get an ignore option in the hover over.
