Gift of Alacrity is a dunamancy spell, so isn't on a class list - those spells are odd, as they only belong to the specific subclasses, unless the DM grants them to a character.
Gift of Alacrity is not working In D & D Beyond maybe all of the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount spells cant use it with a pure wizard with CR clicked to use and does not work with Magic Initiate Wizard also. So how would you get a refund if their stuff does not work and looks like they don't want to fix it ?

RAW none of the dunamancy spells are on the Wizard spell list, they're on subclass specific spell lists. They don't work for Magic Initiate or Pure Wizard because... they're not intended to.

Gift of Alacrity is working for me. Please take the time to carefullyREAD the rules on how dunamacy spells work before accusing Beyond of not implementing them properly or not wanting to fix them. Beyond does not get everything right and they still have a lot of improvements to make, but in terms of RAW, they implemented most rules right.
Dunamacy spells are exclusive to graviturgy and chronurgy wizards. Other wizards DO NOT GET ACCESS to dunamacy spells.
If you want dunamacy spells to be available to all wizards, you will need your GM's permission and you will have to create a private homebrew copy of the spell and make it available to all wizards.
I paid for it so I want to use it how I want in my game just liker everything else in D&D, if I was playing with pen and paper Nothing can stop me from using the spell when and where I want to or how I want to and is that not the point of D&D Beyond to let people play how they want where they want but make it easy for them ? And if I can homebrew a spell a copy of the one I paid for what cant I just use the one I paid for ?
if I was playing with pen and paper Nothing can stop me from using the spell when and where I want to or how I want to
Not trying to be funny or anything, but what should be stopping you is RAW... Gift of Alacrity is explicitly a Chronurgy Wizard spell (as other's have pointed out), so it's not available through Magic Initiate as Magic Initiate allows you to take Class Spells, not Subclass Spells... If you want Gift of Alacrity (RAW) you'd need the Fey Touched feat, as that doesn't limit the options to Class Spells, just to Schools of Divination or Enchantment (and this appears to have been added to the Fey Touched list since Spartanman23 started this thread)...
Yeah but here is the thing I want the 2 cantrips and the spell. So I made my own feat to make it happen. I think people with the RAW really have no idea what D&D is all about or the spirit of the game. "The D&D rules help you and the other players have a good time, but the rules aren't in charge. You're the DM and you are in charge of the game." their are other spots in both past and present that say the same thing play the game the way you want to play the game, the gules are guild lines to be used or not used as you wish. One of the rules states if something contradicts the rules to the norm go with the contradiction, one of the rules the rule Lawyers and wizards of D&D tend to forget as they battle about stuff in the forms lol. Long story short if my DM says sure you can use critical role content and I click it on why does D&D Beyond have to play RAW Lawyers for me I paid for it my GM said use it end of story I click it on and use it how I want to or how the GM lets me. The fact that they let and encourage people to home brew, people that cry and moan about RAW really don't have a leg to stand on.

except when it comes to the implementation of the RAW with DnD Beyond, where it does actually matter, and if you want to make the changes, you have to put in the work to change it yourself (whether it be by making a different Magic Initiate, or just making copies of all the dunamancy spells and adding them to whatever classes you want).

But DND Beyond IS letting you use the Critical Role content that you've purchased, but they can only allow that to be done within the rules of the game as they are written - they cannot reasonably be expected to anticipate and code for every possible house-rule that people play with that doesn't follow strict Rules As Written! That's why the homebrew tools are a thing... If you were playing as a Chronurgy Wizard, with Critical Role Content activated on the Character Builder, then Gift of Alacrity would be an option for your character... If you're playing as any character class, and have Critical Role Content activated, and take the Fey-Touched Feat, then Gift of Alacrity is available to select when choosing the Feat... Both of these things are available because they're RAW... When we, as Players/DMs, want to do something that's not RAW, like "allow Gift of Alacrity to be chosen when taking the Magic Initiate feat", it's up to us to homebrew a way to do that (as you say you've now done with a homebrew feat)...
Yeah but here is the thing I want the 2 cantrips and the spell. So I made my own feat to make it happen. It is not about whether strictly following RAW is a good idea or not. I personally do not give a crap about RAW at my table.
However, from what I understand, for contractual and practical reasons, Beyond can only implement RAW and nothing but RAW to the best of their ability. If you want to deviate from RAW, you need to do it on your own with the homebrew tools, and nothing is stopping you from deviating from RAW. As others have mentioned, it is simply unfeasible and way too costly for Beyond to implement any effect people can think of, even if Beyond was allowed to implement things however they want. Contractually, Beyond is bound to the whims of Wizards and can only implement official publications, and they cannot implement anything unofficial, even something as trivial as third party lore is a massive no-no (Beyond had to take down their collaboration with Epic Games on Darktides of Bilgewater).
In my opinion, the best thing you can do is to voice your support for a toggle that eliminates restrictions on spells, like how we have toggles that eliminates restrictions on feats and multiclassing. Do not expect Beyond to work on it anytime soon though, as they have a ton of other stuff with much higher priority to work on, and probably would not even consider working on this until at least two or three years later. And while we are on the subject, we might as well have a toggle that eliminates the cap on spells prepared, attunement slots, and character levels.

Absolutely agreed (and that would be a much more pressing thing - IMHO)! I know not a lot of people even get anywhere near Level 20, but being able to go beyond it would be sweet for those that do play that high!
I’m pretty sure that statement was originally made as sarcasm and not as a genuine sentiment.
It is genuine. I am tired of seeing people asking how to make dunamacy spells available to every wizard, and honestly, while I probably will not make much use of the toggle, it would be nice to have in case I ever want try running a campaign where every class feels like a wizard on steroids without having to homebrew every spell. And a Bladesinger that can smite enemies up close and barrage them from afar sounds pretty cool.
And toggles for other stuff can help address other issues that people have from time to time.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I see nothing in the wording of Fey Touched that should disallow the use of Gift of Alacrity. It is a first level spell in the school of Divination, Fey Touched does not mention classes, class subtypes, or school subtypes, just overarching schools of spells.

It is allowed. If you're trying to pick the spell for Fey Touched and it's not in the list, make sure that you have access to Wildemount for your character and that Critical Role Content is enabled (red/right) in your HOME | Preferences.

Not according to DDB. According to them the point of DDB is to make it easy for people to play RAW.
