I'm creating a Sorcerer. At level 3, I now have the option to choose an archetype, for which I have chosen Sorcerer: Stone Sorcery
The issue is, in my spell list, I cannot seem to add any spells that are "unlocked" by choosing Stone Sorcery, such as Blinding Smite and Compelled Duel. Any way to fix this?
Stone sorcery is homebrew. The spells you mention are from the Player’s Handbook, not the Basic Rules or SRD, so they aren’t available for free. I didn’t think it was even possible to publish homebrew that included such spells. You could try purchasing one of the spells and see if that gives you access on the Stone Sorcerer’s character sheet. I’d start with just one, though, to make sure it works, since I’m not sure how published homebrew included non-free spells in the first place (unless I’m misunderstanding something)
Not to worry, i've already got the spells required for it - just seems i'm unable to put them on my character sheet as they're from a different class. Any workaround to this you know of would also be helpful!
Make a homebrew feat. Add spells to spell section. Make sure "is known" is checked and set spellcasting modifier to CHA. I'm not sure what the details of the homebrew is, so you may have to change other settings as needed.
To add the feat, on character sheet (make sure homebrew is on), go to bottom of features and traits and click manage feats, add feat.

I think it is because the subclass can't add spells from PHB, so it just list them.
You will probably have to create a custom feat to add them.
I heard about the feat trick, but wasn't quite sure how to go about doing it. Any help you could give would be great

If the homebrew subclass is shared with you via a campaign, you could ask the author to add the spells correctly to the subclass.
If it's published homebrew, it shouldn't refer to spells that are outside of the Basic Rules / SRD.

If you are using published homebrew, you could redo it yourself with the right spells and just not publish.
