Greetings adventurers! This is not so much a bug, more of a feature that should hopefully be added to the character sheet. :)
I was just playing a game as my Devotion Paladin and realised that, within the character sheet, there is currently no way to 'activate' the Sacred Weapon bonus (+Cha to Attack Rolls made with one weapon you are holding).
I was thinking it would be useful to have a checkbox added to Devotion Paladins. Basically, they could have a weapon selectable in a manner similar to how the Hexblade Warlock can assign a weapon they have active from their inventory to be their 'Pact Weapon'. Another checkbox could then be added by the Channel Divinity ability so that, when ticked, the correct bonus is added to the assigned weapon.
I appreciate the Character Sheet is still being updated but I'm hoping this could be on the roadmap? Or is there a design feature within the character sheet that prevents this? (it is after all a temporary condition and I know there are current issues with adding some temp conditions to the character sheet)
This would just be a useful feature to have so that I don't have to keep remembering in the heat of battle!

Alternatively, I don't suppose anyone can tell me how to mark this thread as a 'Request'?

We cannot, only the Moderators can do that.
And so I have! ;D
Just to echo what DxJxC has let you know, Lamoon01, temporary effects are not currently implemented in D&D Beyond. Thank you for sharing your feedback!
Wonderful stuff - thanks for getting back to me everyone!
I figured that it would fall under 'temporary effects' but I really was hoping as a base paladin class the kinks would've been fixed.
And much appreciated MellieDM; good to know it's been added to the to-do list. Very much looking forward to seeing this implemented in the future.

Temporary bonuses such as this are not currently supported, but are planned.
