As a 4th level nature cleric, with a wisdom of 16, I believe I should have access to 7 leveled spells in addition to the always prepared spells. I have 4 1st level slots and 3 2nd level slots.
I currently have elected to prepare 4 first level spells. Additionally, I have speak with animals (level 1), barskin (level 2), and spike growth (level 2) always prepared. I should be able to prepare 3 additional spells. D&D Beyond is giving me access to more first level spells to prepare, but is not showing any second level spells beyond what is always prepared. Am I wrong in thinking that those 3 spell options should also include the remaining list of level 2 spells (Aid, Augury, etc.)?
Spell Slots ≠ Spells Prepared. Please reread the Spellcasting section for your class.
It says I can prepare a number of spells equal to my wisdom modifier plus prof bonus. That is 7. It says they must be of a level for which they have spell slots. It goes on in the example to say that they can be any combination of levels.
On my sheet I selected 4 1st level spells. There are a bunch of always prepared spells. I have three more spells I can prepare and I think they should be of a level for which I have spell slits, 1 and 2. But the app does not let me pick level 2 spells.

What am I misreading? Thanks in advance
You're contradicting yourself here. You said earlier your Wisdom score was 16. That's a Wisdom mod of +3. Yet in this latest post you're saying it's +5 (which requires a Wisdom score of 20 or more). Your proficiency bonus has nothing to do with preparing spells at all.
You prep Cleric level + Wis mod number of spells which can be 1st or 2nd level. So, yes, if your Wisdom modifier was +3 and you were a 4th Level Cleric, that is 7 spells you can prepare of 1st or 2nd level.
Here's a video I just made to show you. If you are seeing something different please post a link to your sheet plus a screenshot of what you are seeing.

I misspoke (typed) in my latest post. I said prof bonus but meant level. Everything you say is correct. I am 4th level. I have a +3 modifier. It is not letting me pick 7 spells. It is now giving me access to those 2nd spells, so no problem, but that was not the case yesterday. I do believe I was experiencing a bug as I even closed out and restarted the app yesterday and still could not get to those 2nd level spells. In any event, thank you for offering assistance.
