When creating a Pact Of the Fiend Warlock, there are fewer Eldritch Invocations available than there are for the Archfey or the Great Old One. Specifically Improved Pact Weapon is available for the Archfey or the Great Old One but not the Fiend.

Are you at least level 3 and have Pact of the Blade as your pact choice?
