Apologies for the noob post, but I've been working about 20 hours on this subclass, trying to get it to work and be available in character builder. Regardless of the levels and options chosen, I just can't get it to work. I consistently get the "This homebrew subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels, but I have several class features for each level- 3, 7, 15, and 20 like the guide says.
Like I said, I'm really new to all of this (I'm a very novice DM as well, and have never actually been a player, but times are rough and I want to play so badly that I'm running my own game. Any help appreciated!)

Rangers get features at 3rd, 7th, 11th, and 15th. You need to add an 11th level feature and remove the 20th level feature.
Sorry, you said Paladin, my mistake. If you have any features at any other level than the four listed that will block your publishing. Otherwise, re-save the whole subclass. The system only picks up those changes when the main “SAVE CHANGES” button is hit.
But to be honest, if you’re having theses issues may I make a recommendation? Don’t publish right away. Take a few months to playtest and edit and revise and correct it before publishing it. Once it’s published you can no longer edit it without creating a new version and republishing it and there are lots of very compelling reasons to not do that.
Honestly, I'm not as concerned with the publishing part unless it makes it so I can actually use the class in the character builder. The main issue I'm having is that I cannot attach this subclass to a character, even though it's homebrew.
Do you perhaps know if I'm missing something that would make this subclass inaccessible for my homebrew campaign?
(Thanks for the speedy response! I'm so dang appreciative)

Happy to help. On the “home” tab of the character creator, they toggle next to “homebrew content” needs to be on (red) for homebrews to be accessible. Homebrew never needs to be published to use it.
So I do have that toggled, but maybe it's still trying to check up. I have a few days before our first session, so I can at least give it a few hours to show.
I've just been working on this for a whole day, and I've saved often, but I've never seen it as an option for my characters. Does it give you the option to view the subclass? I know you're probably busy, but if you could take a personal look and provide any insight, I would be incredibly appreciative.
or I'm sure it's way out of bounds, but if you have any resources or could do a screenshare to show me a few things?
I will not be able to see the coding, I don’t work here. Only a Mod or Staff could do that. In fact, without it being published I cannot even read the description. That’s okay, don’t publish it!!
If you can take screenshots and host them on imgur.com you can then post them in these forums.
A couple things:
It won’t show you any Paladin subclasses until 3rd level. Is the Character 3rd level or higher?
Is the homebrew in your “collection” or just in your “creations?” Only stuff specifically in your “collection” will be available in the character creator.

Can anyone point out what I'm missing? Here is the link to the details page: https://www.dndbeyond.com/subclasses/560916-death-paladin
