In the German translation of the Player's handbook from 2020/05 the herbalism kit is not part of the starter equipment of the hermit. Does someone know if it has been removed or is this just a translation mistake in the German book?
Herbalism Kit is still present in the equipment for the Hermit background in the official English language publication of the Player's Handbook, as shown on D&D Beyond too.
I have no information on why it might be missing from the German translation.
Thank you very much for the fast responses. In the German book the herbalism kit is only listed as tool proficiency and missing in the list of items for the hermit. Still only 5 GP though, so seems kind of strange for me in comparison to the other backgrounds.

As far as I know it was not removed. It’s still listed on DDB and if that had been removed they would have removed it already.
