I'm trying to create a feat that works like arcane recovery, but on the fly. By concentrating for one minute/spell level, you can regain a spell slot (up to a 3rd level slot, up to half your wizard level (rounding up) per long rest.
.So I created an action (Spell Pool Points). General action, special activation, resets on a long rest. Under limited uses I have it set to "1" which starts at level 1. So far all this shows up on the character sheet.
I then created level overrides at every odd level, with the fixed value raising by 1 each time. (So the 3rd level override is 2, the 5th level override is 5, etc.) I can't get this part to show up, the character sheet is still showing one use.long rest.
Am I doing something wrong here? How do I properly input this?
I’m not sure exactly what you set up, but if I understand it correctly then you don’t need “level overrides” at all, you instead need to set the “limited uses” to the correct numbers.
After you add/edit anything on your feat you MUST re-save the entire Homebrew feat using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system won’t pick up your changes.
After re-saving, it can take up to 20 minutes for your changes to reflect on a character sheet for a character that is already using that feat.
