Fighter Lvl 6 - ASI or Magic Initiate Feat - Wizard, taking Mold Earth and Frostbite, and Find Familiar
Fighter Lvl 16 - 3 attacks, crit at 18.
Overall this guy makes 3 attacks/1 bonus attack dealing 3d10 + 1d4 + 40(Gwm) + 4mod, recklessly attacking everytime to get advantage. This means he has a 57% to crit each turn, which grants him an additional bonus action attack, giving him the chance to crit or kill and get another attack.
He prevents enemies from approaching him/passing him to get his allies, and puts disadvantage on his enemies from possibly attacking his allies if they do get past him.
With mold earth he can whip up cover for himself or his allies against ranged enemies, limit further the mobility of his enemies, and with frostbite he increases his damage type capabilities and also limits enemy mobility.
Find Familiar allows him to Grant advantage to any ally via help action. So not only is he a solid offensive unit, but he helps his allies to succeed as well.

I'm not sure if I'm following this bit in particular. You only get 1 Bonus Action per round so "an additional bonus action attack" is confusing me.
Do you mean that you can use a normal attack (1d10) for your bonus action instead of the Polearm Master bonus action attack (1d4)?
Based on how Ive read Great Weapon Master, every time you kill or crit it gives you a bonus action. Meaning it gives you the chance of multiple bonus actions in a turn. This would be the 1d4 Polearm shaft attack
What do you guys think?
Take 4 levels of barb (Ancestral Guardian)/16 levels of Fighter (Champion) - variant human
Variant Human Feat - Polearm Master
Fighter Lvl 1 Fighting Style - Great Weapons
Fighter Lvl 4 Feat - Great Weapon Master
Fighter Lvl 5 - Extra Attack
Barb Lvl 1-4 - Rage, Reckless Attack, Ancestral Guardian, Sentinel Feat
Fighter Lvl 6 - ASI or Magic Initiate Feat - Wizard, taking Mold Earth and Frostbite, and Find Familiar
