What I want to know is simple, is a Swords Bards blade flourish able to double from a crit?
Double damage yes. Double effect no. Take the first roll for the effect.
Critical hits have no effect on non-damage effects.

I usually roll both dice at the same time for a crit, should I just pick one?
Canto alla vitaalla sua bellezzaad ogni sua feritaogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beautyTo pain and to strife, but all that dances through meThe rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
I'd probably say take the result of the die that stops rolling first
