Mainly I'm wondering if magic initiate (Druid) for goodberry, shillelagh, and probably shape water is still worth it, or does goodberry not scale well enough so maybe something else would be better? Even just Wis ASI.
Probably take +2 wis. That's going to give you a pile of benefits. (better spell attack, higher save DC, more spells prepared per day, wis saves, better healing. It's got a lot going for it.) You might also consider another +2 wis at level 8.
And you didn't answer about components. I ask because if your DM is enforcing them, warcaster is a very good choice. You're probably in heavy armor up in melee, so cantrip OA's, adv on concentration are good. If your DM worries about the component rules, then warcaster goes from good to great. Or, you can look at resilient con, but with an even con score, that kind of undercuts one of the benefits of that.
