In truth I think you get two. This is with the assumption that you our multi classing a druid with another class that has find familiar. Fine familiar provides a more or less permanent NPC that you control. Wild companion on the other hand lasts only a few hours and seems to functions more like a summon fey spell then actual find familiar spell. Though as always the DM well have the deciding vote.
I stand by my previous post as the class feature functions more like a Conger animals spell then the genuine find familiar spell, with the intention I'm giving you the temporary aid of a wild critter instead of the permanent relationship of a familiar.
You gain the ability to summon a spirit that assumes an animal form: as an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to cast the find familiar spell, without material components.
When you cast the spell in this way, the familiar is a fey instead of a beast, and the familiar disappears after a number of hours equal to half your druid level.
No, it literally lets you cast exactly that spell. That means it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any other spell at all for any reason ever. It lets you cast that one specific spell, and that spell says you can only have one familiar.
Sorry, but it is not the exact spell for the very reasons I listed and in the feature description you have provided. Else there would be no reason for the second line, listing the deviations between the class feature and the base spell.
‘It tells me that it is different from the normal spell in these ways’ Are any of those ways saying that you can have more than one? Again, re read the spell.
You can't have more than one familiar at a time. If you cast this spellwhile you already have a familiar, you instead cause it to adopt a new form. Choose one of the forms from the above list. Your familiar transforms into the chosen creature.
as an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to cast the find familiar spell
You are casting the spell, which means you follow the text of the spell. The only exceptions are explicitly listed (limited duration, must be fey). You can't get two familiars like this.

Nope You can have 2 find familiars, just Have your Familiar cast FIND FAMILIAR, it is NO longer the same spell.
Finally, when you cast a spell with a range of touch, your familiar can deliver the spell as if it had cast the spell. Your familiar must be within 100 feet of you, and it must use its reaction to deliver the spell when you cast it. If the spell requires an attack roll, you use your attack modifier for the roll.
Do we disagree on who casts a spell when you cast a spell through your familiar?

And that ultimately the DM will decide.
not sure what the DM is supposed to be deciding, it says you're casting the spell (with a few edits)...so the end result is no different than if you cast two of the same spell round after round....exact same scenario.

lol, well said. Since the range of Find Familiar is 10ft, it doesn't even count, I am very amused by how badly the one poster wants to change the rules to get 2 familiars.

Find familiar has a range of ten feet
past ten feet THERE IS ZERO CHANCE IT IS THE SAME SPELL
THE FAMILIAR CAN FIND A FAMILIAR UP TO 90 ft PAST THE STANDARD SPELL COMPONENTS AND RANGE.
or are you claiming the familiar can only cast touch spells. As ONLY is not in the familiars spellcasting
it is 100% not the original spells intent PLUS IT IS USING TASHAS OPTIONAL WILDCOMPANION CLASS FEATURE THRU THE FAMILIARS TELEPATHIC CONNECTION UP TO 100 FT AWAY WITHIN THE ALOTED TIME RESTRICTIONS FOR THE DRUID
IT IS NOT THE SAME SPELL THE WIZARD OR SPELLCASTER USES.
if this is not the case them its a error of tashas as it heavily make it a waste of moon druid combat wildshape, WHY WOULD ANYONE GIVE UP CR1 WILDSHAPE FOR A COMMON WILDSHAPE FEATURE WITH RESTRICTIONS WHEN THE STANDARD FAMILIARS ARE INCREDIBLY PATHETIC AND WEAK.
im trying to understand the efficiency of using find familiar with MOON DRUID WILD COMPANION WILDSHAPE FEATURE.
or its a weak pointless option added to druids by tashas.
Again, everything you just wrote is incorrect.
Your familiar doesn’t cast any spells whatsoever, you do and the familiar simply channels it. It has no spell list, so it cannot cast anything. It does not have the “Spellcasting” or “Innate Spellcasting” features, so it cannot cast anything.
Find Familiar does not have a range of “touch” so the Familiar cannot channel it for you anyway. And since the familiars cannot actually cast any spells, the word “only” is unnecessary because this is the only interaction it has with spells is channeling one for its master.
Range is irrelevant, if the name of the spell is “Find Familiar,” then it is the Find Familiar, pure and simple. And the FF spell specifies that you can only have one Familiar at a time.
And if you think having a Familiar is a weak option then don’t effing use it, but frankly, considering how amazing familiars are and to what lengths people will go to get one for their character, if you say familiars suck then that just goes to show how little you actually know about the subject.
You need to learn to read before insulting people who know more than you and SHOUTING AT THEM RUDELY IN ALLCAPS.
First off, the familiar delivers the spell, it does not cast the spell. YOU are still the one casting the spell, channeling it through your familiar's body "as if" it had cast the spell. My mother in law acts "as if" she were the queen of the world, but I can assure you she is not in-fact the actual queen of the world. Similarly, your familiar is not in-fact casting a spell.
Secondly, the familiar can only deliver your spell if the range of the spell is touch. Find familiar has a range of 10 feet, therefore you cannot use a familiar's ability to deliver your spell when casting find familiar.
The option to use wild shape for a familiar in Tasha's was mostly aimed at druids that don't have any enhancement for their wild shape, i.e. Land druids, Shepherd druids, and Dreams druids. Nevertheless, familiars are very useful for anyone, so moon druids may very well want to summon a familiar. Familiars are useful for scouting and for delivering touch spells (such as healing touch) at range. If you're playing a moon/wildfire/stars/spore druid, I would try to do it with leftover wild shapes before taking a short rest.
Finally, having multiple familiars is doesn't really add all that much compared to having a single familiar. Certainly not worth investing a feat for it.
Nope You can have 2 find familiars, just Have your Familiar cast FIND FAMILIAR, it is NO longer the same spell.

The wild companion feature is for all druids, not just moon druid, so "trying to understand the efficiency of using find familiar with MOON DRUID WILD COMPANION" is ignoring 7 other subclasses and even though in combat it may not make a lot of sense for a moon druid to do it since taking that subclass means you want to be an animal, there are lots of reasons why having a familiar is incredibly useful even for a moon druid.
"past ten feet THERE IS ZERO CHANCE IT IS THE SAME SPELL " - this is a meaningless statement
"PLUS IT IS USING TASHAS OPTIONAL WILDCOMPANION CLASS FEATURE THRU THE FAMILIARS TELEPATHIC CONNECTION UP TO 100 FT"
The wild companion feature doesn't mention distance at all, the entirety is below, all it does is let you cast the find familiar spell. That's it. As IamSposta
said you get to cast find familiar and that spell says you can only have one. If you want more buy the Lost Laboratory of Kwalish and use the spell Flock of Familiars or play with a DM that lets you have as many as you want, just know that is outside the rules

How many familiars can I have if I have both Wild Companion and Find Familiar Spells? Is it just the same familiar im calling?
Two, but combine that with find steed, circle of wildfire, and beastmaster or drakewarden ranger.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
According to the spell, you can only have one familiar. So one.
In truth I think you get two. This is with the assumption that you our multi classing a druid with another class that has find familiar. No. Reread the spell.
I was reading it as I wrote the comment.
Wild companion is a class feature not to spell that's why...
you don't need the material components,
The familiar is "fey instead of a beast" or why it can't be a celestial or fiend,
And why your familiar disappears after number of hours equal to half your druid level.
And again…"Though as always the DM will have the deciding vote."
The spell says you can only have one familiar. The ability let’s you use the spell, so therefore you can only have 1 familiar.
