Psi blades are actually a little on the weak side. Some advantages are that they leave no mark (potentially you can kill someone in public and blame it on a stroke). They also cannot be detected or taken away, like typical weapons. If you are in a position where you really just need to land damage, homing strikes can almost guarantee a hit. But I feel like using a psi die every time you use a blade is a hard punish. If you want to fix psi blades, just have them scale with the psi die. At levels 5, 11, and 17, the die becomes a d8, then a d10, then a d12. If the psi blade also got buffed with this, it would make the psi blade a powerful weapon with a limited number of uses, so it isn’t broken, but definitely useful.
Homing strikes. I didn't read all of the posts but that ability can only be used with your blades. Sure your doing less damage per hit but you are going to hit more often.
Steady Aim should only be used if you don't have an ally within 5 ft of your target. Rolling twice without advantage is better then once with advantage.
Hiding as a bonus action or dash is an option but I find that in combat I usually just attack twice even if my first attack hits with sneak attack damage.
A good DM in a campaign would most likely offer you an item that increases your psychic damage. Or possibly the increase your throwing range etc. Assuming they like to customize cool items for their players.

It's not quite an opportunity attack, but a rogue should be looking for Reaction attacks, in order to get another Sneak Attack this round.
The Haste spell is a good way for this, as is a feature like Commander's Strike.
