I am playing through Call of the Netherdeep, and I currently have a Celestial Warlock 4/Bard 1 who has Xalicas as a Patron. They are a solar who served Corellon the Arch Heart and was injured during the Calamity and was left behind on Wildemont. I plan on taking a level or 2 of Arcana Domain, citing the Arch Heart as the source of my character's power. It's all fluff, but it's fun to make a background work together.
The only cleric/warlock multiclass that I think would work is forge domain 1 (heavy armour proficiency), hexblade 19. Your cleric spells should be healing and utility ONLY

You might as well not get cleric for that. Also op was last active in 2021.

I know this is an old thread, but I have some input to add. I'm currently playing a Shadar'kai. The original build was as an Evocation Wizard with the Rewarded background. He had served the Raven Queen so well through the years that she gave him the ability to live a mortal life, free from her service. All he asked for was a connection to the weave. Which gave him the Magic Initiate Feat to start. Went Cleric there just to give him a healing spell. As he was supposed to be an out on his own soldier of Neverwinter working with the Grey Cloaks.
I was joining a campaign that was already at lvl 8 doing some homebrew looking for a high-level campaign to move into. My guy was supposed to start a link into the Vecna campaign as it was just released for 5e. But as we were adventuring, we came upon the Eastern Gate in the swamp. Passing through it took us to Barovia and dropped us down to level 1. The DM allowed us to retool our characters for the new environment. So, I switched his class and Magic Initiate Feat options. He's now a Grave Domain Cleric serving the Raven Queen. Grave Domain fits so well for the character, species, and deity.
I found my way to this thread because I was considering a multiclass with him as we go. And just looking into the Raven Queen's 5e lore, she has a habit of Warlocking mortals to serve her purposes on the material plane. Well, that means I can have the same Patron/Deity for both classes. I know she's not quite a Goddess, but I think she's close enough to allow a Cleric worshiper. And I think going into Warlock would be interesting, because like I said, she tends to use them on the material plane. But Curse of Strahd takes places in a pocket dimension in the Shadowfell. So, it's like she let him be a mortal just so she could use him as a Warlock to access this pocket dimension she can't access because he will have access to it from the mortal realm. Then, once he defeats Strahd and returns to the material plane, he can go back to hunting Vecna. It would be pretty cool to have a Raven Queen worshiping Shadar'kai spend his time as a mortal to end both the Raven Queens biggest intelligent undead nemesis.
Now I just have to learn about Warlocks to see if it would be worth him dipping in and into what subclass.

On one shoulder I have a devil, on the other I have an angel and I hate them both

No DM allows a Warlock/Sorcerer multiclass. Coffeelocks are pretty much banned.

Still here. But not very active.
I like forge cleric. Kind of like Artificer.
I’ll take your word for it

I'm just realizing that this thread is 7 years old
I wonder how plummeting hundreds of feet feels
