Fairy Celestial Warlock bound by pact to a deified Unicorn who is lord of her corner of the fey realm. When she casts Eldritch Blast, she shoots rainbows from her wings.
When reality formed from the Chaos, it gave two things, Av and THE Great Old One.
AO is the fundamental God of Order and THE Great Old One is the opposite the embodiment of Chaos.
My Character was a dog who lived a good life and died fighting a giant wolf in the darkness. He wandered the fugue plain till the very end and stared into the abyss. The abyss stared back and decided to send him back as a human and an emissary of the chaos of freedom in a world that had become too ordered and repressive.
Well, my current(?) Level 18 Archfey warlock along with his companions are marooned on the bottom level of the Dungeon of the Mad Mage until such time as Halaster gets tired of seeing them squatting in his dungeon and decides to Gate the entire party out of the dungeon to somewhere else.
So.........it will be some time before another warlock character becomes active and needs to decide which patron do I want? Or for that matter, which patron will accept my character?
Though, the Vestige Patron option in the upcoming Arcana Unleashed sounds interesting.
OR.......after the campaign is officially declared terminated, my character casts Contact Other Plane, and he begs his patron for "HELP";
my patron GATES my character and the other party members to the Feywild, where we spend an indefinite period of time entertaining the Archfey with our tales of adventure, derring do and mortal avarice.
While scouting the depths of the Underdark, a young Drow encounters a newly risen Death Tyrant—an undead Beholder haunted by a recurring nightmare: its own death at the hands of another Beholder.
Desperate to find its destined killer, the Death Tyrant offers the Drow a pact. In exchange for eldritch power, he must hunt through the Underdark and uncover the Beholder that will one day destroy his patron.
But the visions are becoming clearer… and the patron’s eyes are beginning to see through him.
This is my Backstory for a Parasite Warlock - Rogue Thief Multiclass in Eberron. Love feedback to improve or ideas to connect to other campaign opportunities.
This Changeling Rogue was trying to steal something valuable and accidentally triggered a trap that sent her to the Astral plane. She spent 70 years in the Astral plane - drifting until she happened upon the semi-asleep consciousness of an ancient Mimic demigod.
This moon-sized mimic existed for a time untold in the Plane of Kythri (the Churning Chaos) changing form and drawing in creatures to eat and to absorb their knowledge and powers. It even ate some of the First Dragons of Argonessen when they started exploring and settling the different planes of Eberron. As a result a group of ancient dragons attacked the mimic, ultimately casting Plane Shift to banish the Mimic to the Astral Plane since their other attacks were useless against this demi-god on its home plane of existence. Being on the Astral Plane removed the mimic's unending hunger and the Mimic started to converse with travelers it encountered before eventually eating and absorbing them.
My Changeling Rogue landed on the Mimic and she was the first Humanoid shapechanger it had seen in a very long time. They spent a great deal of time talking about magic, identity, physical forms, and other wide-ranging topics. The Mimic decided to offer the Changeling power and seperated a part of it's essence to parasitize the Changeling, empowering her nascent magic in the process.
The mimic Parasite helped the Changeling travel to a city-ship of the Githyanki (the Gith were aware of the mimic but avoided it so the mimic was curious about them). The Changeling was able to use her shapechanging and rogue abiltiies to live among the Gith and learn from them till she was able to eventually arrange travel back to the Material Plane.

What is life without a little chaos and entropy?
My Elven Warlock's Patron is an Archfey that I can not remember the name of
