Chill Touch (because it deals damage, nerfs undead for a round and stops healing for a round so whats not to love, keep your Firebolts, Toll the Deads and Eldritch Blasts, chill touch all day every day)
Create Bonfire (whats not to love about a 5ft cube of fire?)
and the one I voted for...True Strike (because everyone hates it so much).

Prestidigitation because it has so many uses. Also because it comes in very handy for turning out the lights when the party wants to sneak around (or the party has a Gloom Stalker ranger).
It has many uses. You can cook with it, change flavours, mark things, make trinkets and tiny illusions, prank people, ignite things, snuff out small fires/lights, and more and you can clean things.
If there was any cantrip I would want in real life it would be this.

In real life it’s a toss up between Mage Hand and Prestidigitation. Both are SO useful!
I think that Prestidigitation is THE cantrip, if I’m being honest.
It just seems like a mash-up of flashy, cheap magical effects, alongside some practical utility. It’s great!
”Mage Hand” would be a strong follow-up…perhaps even more so if one is an Arcane Trickster rogue, or has taken the “Telekinetic” feat from Tasha’s Cauldron.
Combat-wise, I’m loving “Mind Sliver”…I flavor it as not so different than “Vicious Mockery”, except that I am directly inserting that insult into the target’s brain.

Mending is a consideration. You could easily run a business around that.

no lonely male wizard in his right mind would pass up mage hand
If it's a toss up between the two, I'd pick Prestidigitation. My right hand does the job fine enough, and Prestidigitation has more uses for me - especially cleaning, since I'm a lazy bastage.
In a perfect world, get both.

What do you mean Chill Touch nerfs undead? I thought that undead are immune to cold.

To quote the spell
"On a hit. the target takes 1d8 necrotic damage and it can't regain hit points until the start of your next turn. Until then, the hand clings to the target. If you hit an undead target. it also has disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of your next turn".
So this spell is uber useful against creatures that regenerate and/or undead.

Light, Ray of frost, and Mage hand.... the best combo.
Cast Light in a crystal stone. Then, cast Mage hand, and grab the shiny stone with the Magic hand. If you lack in torches, that combo is great. Ray of Frost can freeze anything. The frozen area can help illuminating a wide area by the refraction effect of the Light.
Create Bonfire. It’s an amazing cantrip that can cause reliable damage if combined with cheap items like oil or a net, potentially AoE if your DM allows you to place in grid tangents and super party-friendly if you have allies who grapple a lot or have some source of forced movement like Thorn Whip or Telekinetic feat.
I do t play dnd often, but I find prestigitation very VERY useful. From lighting torches, luring away enemies, to scouting out dumb enemies like goblins by making a small coin, prestigitation is defenetly my favorite cantrip

I put mold earth but really I just like that 4 pack of elemental control spells. Mold earth is probably my favorite out of the bunch.
Prestidigitation because it has so many uses. Also because it comes in very handy for turning out the lights when the party wants to sneak around (or the party has a Gloom Stalker ranger).
Chilling kinda vibe.
I think Friends is pretty useful.
Green-flame blade for the extra damage, and decent AOE.
I can’t remember what’s supposed to go here.
Prestidigitation
It has many uses. You can cook with it, change flavours, mark things, make trinkets and tiny illusions, prank people, ignite things, snuff out small fires/lights, and more and you can clean things.

If you apply Fire on those thorny thingies, for sure you gonna create a mass-extintion effect over the Druid's most loveable plants. Not bad.
