So, I'm putting a night/moon-based Pallid Elf who's a Twilight Domain Cleric/Celestial Warlock (Pact of the Tome). The Twilight Domain feature Eyes of Night says that she has 300 ft. of Darkvision, and then the Devil's Sight invocation says I have 120 ft. of Darkvision, in which I can see through magical darkness. Am I able to see through 300 ft. of magical darkness as a combination of the two, or is it 120 ft. of magical Darkvision, followed by another 180 ft. of "normal" Darkvision?
One thing ... Darkvision and Devil's Sight from the invocation are NOT the same thing. Devils sight does not provide 120' darkvision that sees through magical darkness - that is what the monster feature of the same name does. The invocation does the following:
"You can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 feet."
While darkvision for a twilight cleric does the following:
"You can see through the deepest gloom. You have darkvision out to a range of 300 feet. In that radius, you can see in dim light as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light."
Darkvision turns dim light to bright light and darkness to dim light. With darkvision you have disadvantage on perception checks that rely on sight when you are looking at things in darkness (since it is only dim light for you).
However, the invocation Devils sight, turns complete darkness into brightly lit for you - you can see normally in complete darkness but it does nothing in dim light.
Having both allows you to see within 120' as if it was brightly lit no matter what the lighting conditions including magical darkness. The 300' darkvision lets you see from 120' to 300' in dim light as if it was bright light and in darkness as if it was dim light.
Thank you, and my apologies! I've been going through this whole roundabout of links to get here because I wasn't sure what I was looking at, but taking a closer look made everything easier lol

120 ft magical darkness +180 ft darkvision.
PS- This is not feedback for DDB, there is an entire forum for these types of rules questions in future.

No need to apologize, but you’re likely to get answers faster in future if you ask in the right forum.
