One issue I have struggled against for a while now is the fact that the only “internal links” recognized by the homebrewer are the pre-programmed tooltips. While those are fantastic, they do not include everything such as feats and other things. However, even more of an annoyance is that I would like to insert helpful links to sections of various sourcebooks and cannot.
For example. In the description of Acolyte background it includes a link to the “Gods of the Multiverse” section of the Basic Rules, and in the Mercenary Life trait for the Mercenary Veteran background it conveniently includes a link to the “Practicing a Profession” section of the PHB. However, were I to attempt including such a link it would preclude my sharing said ’brew with the comunity.
It sure would be swell if there was some way to have an embedded hyperlink recognize such URLs as “internal links” in some way that would allow us to include such convenience links for folks who use our homebrews and still allow publication.
