I am getting really tired of having to scroll past things like this latest Obijima and Lord of the Rings Crap that are 5e and not D&D. This is D&D Beyond not D&D and Other Games Beyond. This use to be a nice clean easy place to look up stuff. Now its a mishmash of stuff mixed together so that when I do a search I have to weed through a bunch of trash in the search to find the WotC version of what I am looking for.
Al least put a setting in the profile that allows me to ignore content and ads for content that is not D&D.
Do you mean on the homepage, where it's their job to sell content to potentially interested players who may not otherwise realize the content was added and none of your personal content is?
Or the marketplace, where it doesn't show up at all in core rules and where expanded rules and adventures have a single checkbox to filter for just WotC content?
Perhaps the game rules section, where classes and species have third party content below all official content and every other category requires you to specifically filter for it to see third party content at all?
Yup, it's making the App especially awful to use. Let me exclude content from searches, especially if it's the garbage i specifically havn't bought.
I literally just pointed out that you have to SPECIFICALLY INCLUDE the content to get it in searches, and the only place where inclusion is automatic is the marketplace, where a single checkbox then excludes it. You're just calling yourself out for not reading the text on the screen. And since you mentioned the app, I'll point out that it, too, has really easy-to-use filters. If you go to Source Categories and select just 2014 Core Rules or Core Rules and Expanded Rules, it will pull up all current content for only those things. In your Library tab, just click on Owned and it'll only include the books you've chosen to have and those shared with you. (If there's third-party in there, either you or someone you're in the campaign of chose to pick it up.)
Every time I go to search magic items or spells in the app it shows everything by default, I use some of the third party things in my games but a simple "owned content only" tickbox on the listings pages would be much appreciated.
Either that or custom filter defaults across both website and app would be ideal (like i may own the Lord of the Rings rpg, but i don't need it's items clogging up my searches when running a campaign based in Critical Role's Exandria for example)

The problem is squarely on you in this case.
