hey so at home I use D&D Beyond to create and manage my characters. but where we play there isn't internet so it would be great if there was an offline mode. or even if you don't do characters offline at least give the books so i can look up rules and parts of modules while dming at our location with out internet.
my question is does any body know if they are working on this or a way to do this?
The only offline mode I am aware of is the Android / iOS app, which lets you download the books into the app. I don't think there is a Windows Store version.
One potential crazy workaround would be to install an android emulator onto the computer, install the app into that, and then download your books onto the computer that way.
Some combination of printing to PDF and saving web pages might also work.
Or for the truly insane, you can add /json to the end of your character URL and get an XML file of your character's data.

You can export your character to PDF.

There are currently no plans to make an offline Windows app for D&D Beyond. However, I encourage you make a suggestion here: https://dndbeyond.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/115000209847-Feature-Requests?sort_by=votes
The dev team are always checking out the suggestion forum and if yours gets enough traction, it may get fully fleshed out and added to the roadmap!
