I have a high leveled Sorcerer that I am trying to take the Magic Initiate Feat with, but the option does not appear in the drop down. I have deselected the "Feat Prerequisite" option on the home page but Magic Initiate still does not appear in the drop down.
Follow this link and make sure that your “Account Entitlements” are synced. If that doesn’t fix it then please paste a copy of your Character Sheet URL so a Mod or Staffer can investigate for you.
Edit: Sorry, I had a brain fart. Here is the link I had copied but forgotten to paste. 🙄 My bad yo.
Technically content is neither shared with characters nor players. Content is shared with the campaign itself. Anything not associated with the campaign doesn’t get access unless it was in the campaign when the content was originally added to the character. If the content stops being shared (turned off, subscription canceled, character left campaign) then the character keeps whatever it already has, but can no longer access anything new.

Hello there FabulousFaerie77,
Have you purchased the Players Handbook on D&D Beyond, or have it available via content sharing in a campaign?

Yes, I have it through content sharing.

Oh shoot. Sorry, linked the wrong character. https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/FabulousFaerie77/characters/46828922 thats the right one.
My sorcerer is not in the same campaign that I'm getting the PHB through. Is that why? Source books are shared w/ specific affiliated characters?
Yes, that's definitely why. The character needs to be in the same campaign to get the benefit of the content sharing.
