I've been playing dnd for a while now and recently got into dndbeyond, I was wondering if it was possible to add your hardcover copies of the book to your account. I know that dndbeyond and wizards of the coast don't have anything to do with each other but any advise would be good.
Owning a hard copy of a book doesn't get you anything on dnd beyond.
However, because you own the books you can homebrew the official content via the homebrew content creator and use it for your personal use if you are willing to spend the time and energy on that. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a digital copy of the books on dnd beyond to have access to the content within those books on Dnd beyond.
You can also choose to just purchase the content you need for the characters you want to build. In other words, you can purchase individual races, subclasses, spells, etc.
