Despite either having the word “Angel” in the monsters’ names, being referred to as angels in their descriptions, having “angelic” special traits, or a combination of those, the following Celestials are missing the “Angel” creature subtype:
I imagine it's because WotC didn't use the subtype. There is an "angel" Tag though, and most of these have that; the exceptions are Battleforce Angel, Deathpact Angel, Firemane Angel, and Radiant Idol. I could see the Idol not counting since it's a fallen angel, but the other 3 should probably get the Tag at least.

I am already familiar with all of that, and the tag system too. I was letting the people who actually work here know “just in case” there was an oversight. (You don’t have to explain haw a baking soda & vinegar volcanoes works to Bill Nye, do you?)
Partly explaining what I think is going on, partly saying to the forum in general that I think at least some change should be made (Tagging) even if the creature subtype isn't a option, Bill :P

I already explained what you think is going on in my OP: “Maybe that’s on purpose because WotC didn’t use it, but I wanted to raise the issue just in case.”
As to the tagging system, that’s so ridiculously messed you have no idea. It’s not even worth bringing the tags up. They were so inconsistently applied, it’s practically useless trying to use them. The last time I mentioned the tagging to the staff, they admitted how messed up they were and how inconsistently they have been applied and that they’re practically useless for anything. I even volunteered to do it for them since I know the system at least as well as it would take to add tags to everything. The staff point blank said that the system was so bad they were still trying to figure out how they were going to address the situation.
To clarify, Sposta, lately I've been doing more "can confirm" posts on threads mentioning an issue. Basically testing to see if I can replicate the problem, and if so, provide a bit more detail for the staff so they know what to pass along. My first post in this thread was in a similar vein. Sorry if the wording felt more like I was lecturing to you :/

Ahh, no worries. Probably just me being touchy is all. Sorry if I offended.
Hi there. Just a heads-up:
Despite either having the word “Angel” in the monsters’ names, being referred to as angels in their descriptions, having “angelic” special traits, or a combination of those, the following Celestials are missing the “Angel” creature subtype:
Battleforce Angel, Deathpact Angel, Deva, Fazrian, Firemane Angel, Planetar, Radiant Idol, Solar, The Abbot
Maybe that’s on purpose because WotC didn’t use it, but I wanted to raise the issue just in case.
