I'm attempting to make a homebrew subclass for Druid, but when I go to Share with Community, it gives me the error "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels." The subclass has a 2nd, 6th, 10th, and 14th level ability, which from all the Druids I have seen, is when they get their subclass features. I've triple checked the homebrew itself, and it seems fine. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
So, I've been trying to make a subclass on here for Druids (I posted about an issue I had yesterday regarding this, when I thought it was just a one time issue). Since then, I've tried to make it using the different official subclasses (The selecting a class and then selecting a subclass option) twice. First with the Circle of the Moon, second time with the Circle of Dreams. Both of them show up with the complaint:
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
Is there an issue just going on with Druids in the Homebrew maker, or am I doing something wrong?
Best practice is to complete all play testing and editing before publishing. After a little while of testing it and editing and revising fixing your typos, by the time you’re done, it’ll probably have sorted itself out for you. If not, come on back.
The "template" for homebrew druids is Circle of the Land because that is the circle in the SRD. Circle of the land has a level 3 feature. So you need to add an "empty" level 3 feature and set it to be hidden. Them make sure you save from the topmost save button.
Note: Please do not publish homebrew until it has been well and thoroughly tested. It is easy to edit un-published homebrew, but it is incredibly difficult to edit published homebrew. Technically speaking, you can't, you can only publish a new version, but the older version(s) don't go away.
One, they’re not fond of us making multiple posts about the same issue. Different folks help at different times. It can make it harder to help everyone if they don’t realize two different people are trying to help the same person with the same problem. Not a hugebig or anything, just a heads up for next time.
You’re not wrong. For some inexplicable, bizarro reason DDB is set to require a (I believe) 3rd level feature for Druid subclasses, even though they should not need one. Something to do with Circle of the Land and something they have special at that level. (I don’t really get it.) It didn’t used to be that way, but then they change stuff. (I don’t know why.) Most folks set up a dummy feature that doesn’t do anything and hide it best they can somehow. I cannot be any more specific, someone else will likely set you right soon enough though. has apparently already helped you with that. (Druid isn’t one of my preferred classes so I honestly haven’t personally dealt with this one myself yet. Sorry.)
One tip for me, don’t publish right away. Give it some time, actively play a character using that subclass. I can all but guarantee you that in a few weeks you’re gonna start noticing typos, or other minor mistakes. You’ll likely decide that one of the features isn’t working quite as you intended and you’ll want to revise it. And unless you are super familiar with the homebrewer, you can most likely implement your design in ways you are unaware of that would most likely just make it more convenient to use. (Stuff like snippets and better ways to set up actions and stuff.) You are gonna be really happy when you go “wait a minute, I could…” and once adjusted that stuff will just “works better” on the DDB character sheet. (Happens all the time.) Give it some time, fix your mistakes, and once you’re satisfied that everything is perfect, then publish. It’ll most likely save you some potential headaches in the long run. (Trust me I made that mistake waaayy too many times. Every time I look at my published stuff all I see is what needs fixing and it just makes me wanna offer the mods a bribe to slip in and edit them for me. Too bad I got nothing they want. Other than maybe for me to stop posting in other forums besides Bugs or Homebrew. 🤔)
Make sure that you saved not just your changes but the subclass as a whole. Then give it time to work it’s way through the cache (usually 20 minutes minimum, but it can be longer). Also, all else fails, use a DDB-created subclass as a template. If it’s got features at levels you don’t need, leave the feature but blank it out.
How do I blank it out/ what is blanking out? Also, I made the subclass using the Circle of the Land Subclass as a template, and now it's saying it's too similar to Circle of the land, Evan after me deleting and re-adding the ability.

As I said in my reply to your other post (this is why it’s better to not post multiple threads about the same stuff), you MUST re-save your homebrews using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information to trigger these compliance checks.
Hi! Sounds like you have a completely unrelated issue and would have been better off starting a new thread! But since we're here, yes, the only content available without a purchase is homebrewed materials, items in the basic rules (which for rogue subclasses would be just Thief), and items shared via content sharing in a campaign where that was specifically turned on. It sounds like you'll need to make a purchase -- but you don't need to purchase the whole PHB on the site, if you go to it in the marketplace and scroll down inside the book there will be piecemeal purchase options and you can purchase just the subclass you want for $1.99.

Druids use Circle of the Land as the base template, and it’s got level 3 circle spells, so you need to put in a placeholder item at level 3.

Thank you!
So, I tried that, and it's still coming up with the issue, so I'm not sure what to do now.
