in this feat the bonus to armor class is tied to the attribute you choose. How do you do this? I’m looking to make a similar feat but haven’t been able to figure out how to tie the bonus to the chosen attribute. I can see how to choose the attribute and how to add a bonus but not how to tie them together.
I suspect that the user set this up using Options. One for each ability score, and then the two appropriate modifiers for each ability score being added to a given option.
Edit: IamSposta is right, I'd forgotten that modifiers can't be tied to options in feats. I had assumed that the Fey Touched (etc.) feats required multiple options to tie the increased ability score to the spell attack modifier / save DC. Apologies!
Edit 2: It appears that the feat you've linked is also not functional, as-is.
A note, you can only add “actions” to the options associated with feats. The reason DSB has a different version of each feat for each Ability score (like there are three different versions of the Feytouched feat), is because DDB’s content creation platform has some glaring shortcomings, one of them is Feats. You might need to just make multiple versions of the feat, one for each ability score.
Thank you for the reply’s! Looks like I’ll just make it add proficiency bonus. It won’t take into consideration a character’s personal strength but it will scale with the character as they grow.
