I've got a druid right now, lvl 13, and the website is said to have added more spells to the druid spell list, i.e. Revivify (lvl3), Divination (lvl4), Flesh to Stone (lvl6) and more from the Player's Handbook and Tashas, but they don't show up when I go to prepare my spells?
I've been waiting since Tashas basically came out for it if it might be a bug that needs fixing, and I've played around with the settings on my character sheet in the building menu, yet nothing happens
Is this something that will be implemented and fixed later on? Or is it something I've missed in the settings for my sheet? As the party's main healer and in-game religious character, both Divination and Revivify would be very useful now in the more late-game state of our campaign.
The expanded spell list is an optional feature from Tasha's that adds to a PC's spell list on an individual basis, not to the class as a whole (that's why they haven't been added or tagged in any way on the spells page). So to be able to add these extra spells to your PC's spell list, you need to own Tasha's in its entirety (this is the only way to get the optional features, they are not available as a sub-purchase) or to have it shared via campaign sharing in the same campaign as the PC in question. Then you have to go into preferences (either click the gear next to the character name and click 'preferences' in the sidebar, or click the anvil icon and go to the home tab) and turn on (red/right) 'optional class features' under the 'optional features' section. Then you have to turn on that specific feature, so again in edit mode (the anvil icon) go to the class tab, click on 'optional feature manager' at the top, and check the box for 'additional [class name] spells.' Then when you go to pick your spells, those additional spells will show up. With, of course, the restriction that they must be from a source you have access to (for example, Aura of Vitality is from the PHB, so you need to own or have access to it here in order to be able to use it -- Tasha's just makes it so you can use it, it doesn't provide the spell).
Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything is part of the core setting for Dungeons & Dragons, so there isn't a toggle switch in the character builder to enable/disable the content. It does however provide two significant sets of optional rules: customizing your origin, and optional class features. Both of these can be enabled/disabled on a per character basis, as well as allowing you to choose which of the options you want!
NEW SUBCLASSES & OPTIONAL CLASS FEATURES
Every class, other than Artificer, has gained new OCF (Optional Class Features). These are enabled individually in the character builder, so you can select which ones you wish to add to your character, or in the case of some cleric & ranger features, replace existing features.
First, you must have purchased Tasha’s Cauldron from this website to have access to the Optional Class Features. You must also have purchased the sourcebooks containing those spells, such as the PHB and/or Xanathar’s Guide (or have access through content sharing). Finally, you must activate the required goggles in the character builder.
On the Home tab of the builder, the toggle next to “Optional Class Features” needs to be on (red, to the right):
That will allow you to activate the individual optional features. Then, on the Class tab of the builder, that specific option must be activated:
