I have an encounter with nothing in it which won't delete. Clicking on the delete function simply does nothing at all.
I'm having the same issue.

Same, I have 4 of them that can't be deleted at all. It is very frustrating.
I live for that moment you look at your table, and everyone is laughing, smiling, or emotionally invested.
Make sure that:
-the encounter has a name
-the campaign it is connect to has a name
-every character in said campaign is "complete" (meaning at least a race, class, and ability scores have been entered)
If all of that checks out and you still can't delete, follow the instructions in this post.
