So my Tortle Twilight Cleric/Artificer just hit level 10 (cleric 9, artificer 1) has lost one of his favorite spells, Sleep. It has completely disappeared from his spell list. And I mean completely. Not in known spells or in the configurator.
Now, I know at this level the spell is largely useless, but it's one of his "things".
I also know that it's a spell that isn't normally on the cleric spell list and that it's special to the Twilight Domain. Could it be that the 1 level in Artificer? Is it glitch? Help?
Sorry for the delay, it took a bit for my player to get back to me.
Ah. Yes. Other spells. After a closer inspection, we seem to also be missing See Invisibility and Moonbeam.
However, I tried building a new version of him from scratch and I noticed that beside where it says "Twilight Domain" is says "(archived)". What does that even mean?
I had my player make a copy, remove the Artificer level and have it just be a lvl 10 Cleric. No change. It wasn't directly connected to my campaign though.
Do we need to recreate the character from scratch? What the crap does "(archived)" mean?
"Archived" means that you probably created this character using the Unearthed Arcana version of the Twilight Domain, which would have been archived when the domain was published in Tasha's. Characters can continue to be played using archived subclasses, but new ones can't be made, and there can sometimes be issues at level-up. Of note also is that the UA version of Twilight Domain didn't have See Invisibility or Moonbeam as domain spells, so it makes sense that you can't access those. Sleep, however, you should be able to access. You can try building a copy of the character with the non-UA version of the Twilight Domain, but I wouldn't override the existing character, I would try it with a free character slot first. That of course also entails confirming if you want to keep using the UA build versus the final build.
If that doesn't solve your problem or you want to keep the UA build, please provide a link to the character sheet (use the URL, not the shortened link provided by the Share feature) and someone can try taking a closer look.
I have Tasha's in my library and would like to use that version for the character. It'll be annoying to go through the entire inventory to copy it all over, but it will be better for it anyway.
You don’t have to copy everything over, just change the subclass in the character builder to the new version of the subclass. Nothing else would change, it would just update the subclass to the new version.
You would permanently loose access to the UA Version and could never switch back, but you wouldn’t have to do anything else either.

Are any other spells missing or is it just Sleep?
Have you tried removing the Artificer level to see if that brings the spell back?
Can you please post a link for your character sheet so someone can take a look.
