I recently made a homebrew race and the race details are being cut short. The page is missing most of the description for the race. I see nowhere on the custom race creator that there is a character limit. Is this a glitch? This is when viewing the full race page, not the preview description.
There is a whole bunch of extra HTML in your text, I'm assuming from an original source from where it was copied and pasted. Here specifically, the text is being cut off at this element:
That worked. I removed any links that were copied over from the Fandom page. I thought removing the linked text from the description editor was enough but apparently the link was still in the html. Now I just need to get the formatting right. Thank you.
As a heads-up, next time you copy from somewhere else, paste it into a snippet field first, then cut/copy that and paste that into the description field. The snippet field will automatically scrub all erroneous HTML so your description pastes clean.
Yeah, that too. I use my phone most of the time so I get it. But even the formatting from the notes can get hinky. For example, if I leave the <b>, <i> formatting my phone uses, it comes out wonky on statblocks, I have to use the <strong>, and <em> the site uses (<u> still works though, mostly). That’s why I got in the habit of using the snippet fields, those strip it of everything and then I don’t have to worry, just reformat a little.

Thanks.

When I edit the race, I can confirm that all the information is there for the full description. I hit save as well.

I'd recommend clicking the Source code button in the text editor (eighth from the left) and removing all unnecessary HTML.
I am hitting save after making changes. Then also hitting save again when I return to the main edit page.

Thanks for the heads up. I was doing it on my phone, so I guess I never thought to just use a note app or something to keep the formatting clean.
