Hi - I'm mid game at the moment. The game log isn't updating properly for us. It shows the roll thrown but not the value, showing ??? on the mobile app and ... on the web browser.
This is across multiple devices, operating systems, etc so isn't a setting issue.
Just letting you know that something's broken perhaps?
Ok, we finished our session and it hasn't worked for any of us during our 4 hour session.
I've just tested it again across some other devices and I'm fairly sure its broken.
We have used multiple laptops, ipads, phones, operating systems and the DDB app and its the same across the lot.
It shows ??? on the mobile app and ... on the web browser version. Sometimes, if you manually reload the webpage or switch from Game Log to Characters then back to Game Log in the app, then it shows the rolls, but not always.
I've tested again just now and it appears to be working. No changes made our end so it must have been stealth fixed or someone hit the 'turn it off and turn it back on again' button today
Nope - we use it as-is, no plug ins, extensions, etc. Someone on discord said there were similar issues with Avrae during the same time I was having issues. I'm adamant it was a DDB issue that got stealth fixed overnight but caused us hassle for our game.
Just experienced this same issue. Game log only very sporadically updating, sometimes with random delays. I know nothing about how the system is deployed but AWS is having big issues in the us-east-1 region today. Could be related.

The AWS issues are affecting a multitude of other customers / sites in addition to DDB. Has this just been today as the issues I had (UK based) happened on Saturday evening (48 hours prior to now)
While there was an AWS outage, the blame was placed there but that's now fixed and this issue was happening prior to that. I've posted on the DDB Discord too. It can't just be us right?!
As a possible workaround you can create a brand new campaign and you have to migrate everything into the new one. The players / descriptions / notes / etc. It will be working again there.

I've just noticed an app update on my phone and iPad. Update completed. Still borked :-( This is broken when using a web browser on desktop PC as well.

Do you use Beyond20 by any chance? That extension interferes quite a bit with DDB. (It’s not made by them.)

They’re jackhammering away on updates just on the other side of the character sheets, so occasionally the lights flicker a bit. 🤷♂️

It's still not working. I think Fandom is not aware of this issue :(

Well it was working for me but I just tested it and it's broken again :-(
