Just a weird little bug I found last night, where I was using the search bar at the top to look for stats for a Panther, and it returned zero results. I was able to go into the PHB and find the stats, so it's there, but for some reason doesn't show in search results.
Strange. It's still not showing for me. I checked on my ipad this morning after seeing your post, and it does show there, so must be a glitch on either a mac and/or firefox. I just tried opening it in Chrome, and it still doesn't show in the search results there either. Weird.
Wait... are you referring to how it doesn't show up in the "suggested searches" dropdown below the search box? Because it isn't showing up there for me (Win10 Firefox), but fully typing in panther and doing the search does have the monster stat block in the search results, among other sources.

DDB’s search function is notoriously 💩. It’s almost always better to navigate to whatever you’re looking for via a different method.
True, I usually use the Game Rules > Monsters and such for these types of searches. It's a pity the Search Everything is limited, since the usual method for finding stuff on a site (googling w/ site:dndbeyond.com) doesn't work for content in paywalled sourcebooks.

For me, when I type the full word Panther the only results that show up in the small drop down window (Suggested searches) is "Pantheon, pantheon, and painter." (Capital P on the first Pantheon and lowercase on the second.) :( OH, I think I see what you mean - after typing panther, if I hit 'Return' it does then show up in the search results. I just assumed since it wasn't showing in the small drop down window that it wouldn't work. Weird as that's not how it usually works (ie: if I type weasel, it shows up in the drop down menu). Thanks for the tip!

I just tried searching using the top search bar and it was there. Probably a temporary blip on the backend.
