having a very similar issue to everyone else in this threat, old characters show up but new ones do not. filling out character info was never a requirement in the past (personal experience) and even after filling out character info on a new sheet, it still doesn't show up. i dont have much else to offer information-wise, but felt like inputting since this seems to be a common problem right now.

If you have the space, try copying the character. Can you join with the copied character?

Copying the character, or making a new character using Quick Build (and then editing it), seems to get around the issue.

Hi, I'm still getting this issue. I have yet to join any campaign on DND beyond. And it's nothing to do with whether you make your own character, use quick build thing, or whether the character creation was recent. I have created a character since making the problematic one and that shows up in join menu. I've tried a new tab, incognito, clearing cookies, etc, but nothing. I'm relatively new to DND and the character has been played through a couple of sessions whilst I was waiting for - what I assumed to be - a server update; obviously it's made no difference and as I can see here this issue is a long standing one. Considering this is effecting both free and subbed accounts, are the devs actually going to address this? It was originally raised back in 2020, I mean come-on Devs, how many support tickets do you need?

Have you actually filed a support ticket? I believe one of the challenges is that this problem is relatively rare, and therefore likely hard to reproduce. MNy players can join campaigns without issues. Have you tried copying the problematic character? I don’t see it in the list of solutions you have tried. Some folks with this issue have found that solves it.

This.👆Sometimes the glitch occurs if the character in question is older than the campaign it is trying to join. Copying the character and joining with that copy usually solves the problem.
Yes I did. I haven't yet because I was hoping the Dev's would have fixed it by now. The amount of tabs that have been populated in the character sheet also makes it a complete pain in the proverbial, and at this point I don't have much time to do it. Regardless, it's been 2+ years, and considering how many support tickets that have been submitted, you'd think they'd have enough data sets by now.
This doesn't apply to me, the older characters are available, the newer character is available, just not this one. The campaign was created probably a good 4 weeks prior to me creating and trying to add my character. I don't understand why they can't just run a bot to create account and join a test game until they replicate the issue, surely they have an isolated part of their servers for testing purposes?

Is that character in another campaign already? If so they will have to leave it first to become available.

Same issue. I am guessing there still isn't a fix 7 months later?
