Feats like Fey Touched and Shadow Touched grant you the ability to cast some spells 1/long rest.. and also with your slots.
The secondary benefit doesn't work with Warlocks on the character sheet. They don't appear in the list of spells available.
It seems this is a known issue since 2020. I was wondering if it was on the road-map of things to be fixed, at all? One of my players is always forgetting their warlock can use Pact Slots for these spells, and I'd love to help them out here :)
They used to add spells both ways with feats, but people complained that it cluttered up their character sheets so they stopped. As far as DDB is concerned it isn’t broken, so there’s nothing to fix.
Ahh. Ok. So I created a character to try to illustrate what I'm talking about, but I see that it doesn't interact with spell slots no matter what class it is. Although with other classes, you can at least see the spell in the list at that spell-level. That's .. not the greatest. I would love to have it as an option to turn on or something.
Still -- good to know there's no plan to fix it. Thanks for that.
