I'm trying to base a homebrew monster off the deep scion, which I've unlocked by purchasing Volo's Guide to Monsters, but it's not appearing in the pulldown menu. A spot-check of several other monsters from Volo's and Mordenkainen's seems to confirm that none of these are accessible, either. Monsters from the Monster Manual are available in this pulldown, as are monsters from other purchased content.
Yeah, I was referring to the Create Homebrew Monster page's "Template" drop-down too, where the "(Legacy)" creatures are appearing for me. That's very puzzling, I wonder what the difference could be?

Naru, have you bought Monsters of the Multiverse on DDB, by any chance? I haven't, and now I'm wondering whether maybe the legacy monsters appear only for users who've bought the new, nonlegacy versions.
Try disabling Disconnect and whatever else you are using and see if that fixes it. If it does, turn things back on one at a time and see which one is causing the problem.

I pre-ordered it, but that shouldn't have an effect since it hasn't been released yet.

I can see the monsters with a (Legacy) tag too.

No, I've changed nothing, but some (not all) of the monsters are beginning to appear. Deep scion is still missing, but many others are there, with the "(Legacy)" tag beside them.

I just checked myself, the (Legacy) creatures are showing up for me.
Have you checked if your Entitlements are synced?

They're synced.
To be clear, I can still look them up the normal ways. They just aren't appearing in the drop-down as creatures that I can base homebrew monsters on.

Are you running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or a VPN? Those might be interfering with DDB.

I'm running Disconnect and blocking third-party cookies, and those have never once interfered with DDB in the four years I've used it.
