Hello, I have a player wishing to add Hex to their lock but every time we try we get an error message. I thought about creating a custom spell copying the original to get around it but Hex isn't even on the list of spells to use as a template? Is this a known bug or has something changed I wasn't aware of?

Hex is not a free content spell, it must be purchased from the PHB.

Yes, I own it and many other books however when I try to click learn to add it to my player's
