I'm very new to D&D and I was wondering if anyone can explain the extra +3 damage boost that I have on my Eldritch blast. I have agonizing blast so I know I add my Charisma modifier to the damage, which is +4. But next to my damage for eldritch blast it says +7. I think it may be trying to add my proficiency bonus to the damage but to my understanding proficiency bonus is only supposed to apply to the hit roll and not the damage. Here is my character sheet, any help is greatly appreciated.
Your Eldritch Blast has a red asterisk next to the name, indicating that it has been customized in a way more significant than just a cosmetic customization (like name).
You mean like it has been customized by our DM? Any idea how to get it back to default? I tried removing the cantrip and re-adding but it still says the same thing.
One of my players added the agonizing blast and it multiplied their charisma by 4. Their charisma modifier is a +7 so it made eldritch blast say it did 1d10 +28 damage XD. I was wondering why the damage said it was that high, Agonizing blast is bugged. Removing it and adding it back fixed it, adding this here incase anyone has the same issue and are looking on how to fix it.
Just had this issue with a character in one of my campaigns, and removing Agonizing Blast and re-adding it (though it glitched during that process) solved the damage problem. Weirdly, when I tried to switch it with Beast Speech, it re-added Agonizing Blast, but the second time was the charm, and then I was able to re-select Agonizing Blast, and the damage is what it's supposed to be. +3 instead of +12.

I fixed it. I removed the agonizing blast innvocation and readded it and it went back to +4 where it's supposed to be. Thanks for the info!
