I have been fiddling with a homebrew and your darned bot checker is going nuts. I have had to stop and clear my cookies, cache, and browser history a whole bunch of times because even when I hold the button it doesn’t believe I’m a human being. This is not the first time this has happened to me, but it is the worst time. It’s drivin’ me nuts. I have no ad/popup blockers running, no browser extensions at all, nothing is interfering with Java, and I’m accepting all cookies. All I can think is that it’s because of the speed at which I’m trying to do things. I’m on an iPhone 11 running Safari, all fully updated.
Well it’s annoying as all get out when I have lots and lots of stuff to edit and a limited amount of time in which to do it. It’s happening again, again, again. It’s not my fault I’m moving too fast for your computer.
And it wouldn’t be so bad if it would believe me when I hold the button, but it doesn’t and I have to continually scrub my device’s cache & history to get back into the system. It’s a QoL problem.
Alright, this is getting ridiculous now. I’m intentionally moving slowly and taking breaks in between edits, but every time I go to update one of my races to be more in line with the new 1D&D standards it botchecks me and then won’t believe I’m human. Enough is enough.
I've been doing a lot of activity this morning and haven't encountered the bot once. I can only suspect that something about your browser and/or device is sending additional requests that is increasing your request rate on the site and causing this issue.

Do you get it with a different browser/device?
I have only ever used Safari on my iPhone11, just like I always do. No extensions, no VPN, and it happens whether my popup blocker is turned on or off. 🤷♂️ I can try it on my iPad5, but it’s got all the same settings except it’s preset to use the desktop version of the site. I’ll switch devices and let you know.
If it helps it seems to happen the most when I make edits to a homebrewed race, check it, find something to fix and click edit, then check and edit again. Something about re-editing the same homebrew multiple times seems to trigger it… which is annoying when one is doing minor tweaks across multiple traits and needs to keep checking and editing things to refine it.
Like I said, it really wouldn’t be so bad if it would believe me that I’m human when I hold the button. But it doesn’t and I have to keep clearing history and cache over and over and then logging back in to everything over and over. 🙄
Alright, this is definitely an issue regarding making lots of homebrew adjustments on a mobile device. I was using my iPad running the desktop website without a problem for hours. My battery was running low so I switched back to my phone and the issue has occurred twice in the past ten minutes.
Interestingly it wasn’t acting up while I was using my phone to edit feats, but now even viewing homebrewed races seems to trigger the damned infernal bot checker. It’s a very peculiar bug. You might want to reconsider that [Resolved] flag.
No not at all, no need to thank! But I haven't had the bug in several days even on the original browser. I use brave normally and the simple switch to Google Chrome for the one day fixed everything.

It's most likely this; one of the functions of the bot is to stop scraping and so can be triggered by lots of activity in a short space of time.

I also had some issues with the bot checker in that I was required to go threw it twice to get to the customer support info.

I had this exact same problem ON THE EXACT SAME DAY, 5 days ago. Its gone now but changing browsers helped.

I had to go through it over 16 times, with the checker failing to properly load the next page after I'd been through it on two occasions

I've had the problem once in a while but not a whole lot. First time I encountered it was at least a month ago.
