2 - Inside Noble Sacrifice I have added Haste and Slow as "Spells or spell list that the class feature may grant access to"
3 - I have added an entry for Haste and for Slow, cast at level 3, Consumes Spell Slot, Does not Count as Known Spell, Always prepared, Available at level 10
4 - The class feature shows up under class picker for my character, without Haste nor Slow
5 - Haste and Slow do not show up as prepared in my character on the PDF
Whenever you add anything to, change anything on, or remove anything from any homebrew you MUST re-save the entire thing using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system won’t pick up your changes.

Thanks for the reply, I am 99% sure I have done that, but I will hit the top level save changes button and see what happens after an hour.
I see both Haste and Slow on the character sheet in the Spells section now. Just so you know, spells added by a class feature in the manner you're using don't show up in the Manage Spells sidebar.
But looking at the description for Noble Sacrifice...
This ruined grimoire once belonged to Otsdarva, before it gave itself up to save him within Limbo. The book is riddled with tears and scorch marks, and has been rendered otherwise completely unusable as a spellbook. If you put your ear up to its cover, however, you can hear a faint rhythmic ticking from somewhere within, almost like a weak heartbeat. While attuned, Otsdarva has the spells Haste and Slow known and prepared. These spells do not count against your known and prepared spells, and they are both Wizard and Sorcerer spells for you. Once per long rest, you can cast one of these spells from the grimoire without expending a spell slot.
Are you going to make a homebrew Ruined Grimoire +1 to give you the free casting of Haste or Slow?

Hi there! I was looking for a bit of advice. I couldn't find a topic that was exactly the same as what I'm looking for, but this one was fairly close.
The Goal: I'm trying to create a feature for warlocks that inherently gives them their Expanded Spell List as Always prepared spells that don't count against spells known.
So it works. Sort of. I made an optional (replacement) feature, that replaces the Expanded Spell List when activated. And used the Spells option to give them the spells at the appropriate levels.
Each spell has its own tab. And the only modifiers for each spell are: Consumes Spell Slot: YES, Counts as Known Spell: NO, Always Prepared: YES. And the Character Level its Available at (e.g. create or destroy water at lvl 1, and gust of wind at lvl3)
The Problem: In the character sheet, if I'm a lvl 1 warlock. It Will have the two 1st level spells prepared (1st level spells- create or destroy water, thunderwave). But the moment the warlock gets access to higher level slots at lvl 3, then those two 1st level spells completely disappear from the sheet, and now the two spells that are of the same level as the warlocks new spell slots will be in the character sheet instead (gust of wind, silence).
This happens every time the warlock gets to the next spell slot upgrade. So at any one moment, the only spells that are prepared from this feature are the ones with an equal level to the spell slots that the warlock has.
Attempted Solution: I tried changing the level that the lower level spells were cast at, to match the level of the higher slots. But that didn't do anything. Also tried changing the available character level for the lower spells to match when the higher level spells would be available. Also made no difference.
So, is there any way to fix this? I want it to work, but it's mostly meant to be a thing of convenience, so it's no problem if it's just a quirk of dnd beyond that doesn't work.
Warlocks don’t “prepare” their spells, so you can leave Always Prepared set as “No.”
Warlock’s Pact Magic works waayyy differently than traditional Spellcasting. They automatically cast all their spells at the highest level spell slot they have access to. So when they get access to 2nd-level spell slots, all their 1st-level spells become 2nd-level spells. If you aren’t seeing those 1st-level spells listed under their 2nd-level spells, it’s because you have that setting turned off for the character sheet. On the Home tab of the character builder there’s a toggle that lets you see or not see Upcast spells. You want that on (red, to the right).
I didn't think it would since even when Show Level-Scaled Spells was toggled off, the lower level spells that were added normally still showed up as their upcast forms.
And that's interesting about the prepared spells, hm. Very good to know!

Hello
1 - the subclass "Class Feature" Noble Sacrifice
2 - Inside Noble Sacrifice I have added Haste and Slow as "Spells or spell list that the class feature may grant access to"

5 - Haste and Slow do not show up as prepared in my character on the PDF
My character sheet - https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/36051724
I waited an hour between creation of the subclass and adding it to my character to allow for beyond's caching. I have tried hard browser reload.
What did I do wrong?
