I checked over this forum for similar problems and I tried a lot of the trouble shooting already. I checked off Homebrew, Eberron, Noncore, Optional Class Features and Custom Origin.
I own Player's Handbook, Tasha's, Monsters of the Multiverse, Xanathar, Acquisitions Incorporated, Tortle Package, One Grunt Above, Eberron, and Spelljammer. I verified everything is under one account.
No matter what race I choose or if I make a custom lineage it will not allow me to use the Origin Manager. Is there a sourcebook that I'm missing that would allow this feature? I can't wrap my mind around it. The other threads I've read suggest I have the correct books and settings selected.

Unlock all official options in the Marketplace or create them for Homebrew Races."
Yea I followed all these instructions to the letter and even looked at the Tasha troubleshooting page and I'm clicking everything the GIFs show, but nothing unlocks. :/
I just made a random character and made it public. I couldn't customize the origin so I used defaults.
I chose goblin because that was used in the example.
That's the goblin that was published in Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse. As such, the origin customisations do not apply because they're already built into the race by default.
To get the option, you would need to use a race published before Tasha's Cauldron of Everything and not a version reprinted in Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse
Thank you. I guess I was confused because the example used on the Tasha's help page used a goblin, maybe it was an older version of a goblin? But I better understand now. Thank you.

Tasha's Cauldron of Everything was published before Monsters of the Multiverse and as such, the example provided referenced a race that at the time had not been updated with a newer version
What about using the Reborn Lineage. I wanted to use a Hobgoblin as the base for the character. DM said I could use all the hobgoblin traits as well as the Reborn.
Issue is the same as above, the origin manager does not show anything. I get the same, no custom origins, whether I choose hobgoblin or reborn as my race.
From how I interpret the reborn is that I can add the hobgoblin traits as the original race before becoming a reborn.

All races that were printed after TCoE don't have custom origin options because they built the race with this rules in mind.
