I tried using the homebrew subclass builder to make a protection domain subclass for my cleric, but after finishing the build I cant access it in character creation. I have allow homebrew, playtest, and CR content enabled, I've tried on multiple characters. Also, for some reason the subclass lists it's base class as "Protection Domain" and not cleric. I tried making a barb subclass and it worked correctly.
This seems to be an issue with creating the subclass from scratch, I think. Nevermind. Once I finished editing the copy of an existing subclass, it stopped being selectable and had the same issue.
I seem to be experiencing the same issue. I'm trying to build the Mage Hand Press Complete Warmage. I've not fully completed it yet but when I attempt to add it to a character it doesn't show in Builder anywhere I can see.

Silly question: you did activate the "Homebrew Content" slider in the first page of the builder, correct?

Yeah so apparently this is continuing, I created a copy of the Sorcerer class with one addition, and it doesn't show up in my builder at all, and yes and made sure "homebrew options" slider was turned on.
But to be quite honest with you, this isn't the main issue with homebrewing a class. This is all so terribly esoteric and obtuse, why can't you use the copy of existing class and just list out all the class features and the ability to just alter them in one scrollable page?
All I want to do is simply add the extra spells from the Warlock Fiend Pact Magic list to my existing known spell list in my Sorcerer class. I should just be able to select my actual character and just add the fiend pact magic list, or just add the extra spells automatically to my list. Instead, I am faced with a multitude of description boxes that I need to fill in and the option to add spells not very well displayed or intuitive to use. Which is even more confusing because since I COPIED a class I would think all that info should be filled in with existing content and I could just edit it afterward.
so I am having the same problem. I am working on an Undead Summoner and I am DMing this game on Sunday and it is Wed now. I have Homebrew activated and I can see Homebrew Races but cant see Classes. I really need to get this working so that I can move on to other prep.

Please can you link the subclass you're working on, so a moderator can take a look? You don't need to publish it.
thank you so much that was the problem. Had to bring them to level two in order to get it to show up. Is there anyway to get the abilities to show up before level two? I would think that it would have to be a class and not a subclass but you can’t make classes on BEYOND can you? Also thank you so much I’ve been stressing about this.

Full classes are sadly still not available, but only the future holds the answer to the question "will they ever?"
Regarding seeing the features of a sublcass, if it is a public subclass already it can be searched in the Homebrew Sublcasses list and there you have the full description of the subclass and all its features. Otherwise, you should be able to see all the same info in your Homebrew Collection page.

This. I made a custom fighter subclass, and it lists its base class as itself.

Thanks!

Hello,
I seem to be experiencing the same issue. I'm trying to build the Mage Hand Press Complete Warmage. I've not fully completed it yet but when I attempt to add it to a character it doesn't show in Builder anywhere I can see.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but yes!
Is there any update on this?
In your Homebrew Creations, if you expand your subclass does it show the correct base class?
Hi, I'm trying to make a rogue subclass with an extra attack, but its not working. Can anyone help?
p.s. I used "Bonus-Extra Attacks" and put 1 in the fixed amount box
I'm having the same problem, can't select a homebrew subclass despite having homebrew content turned on.
I am having this problem as well
I am also having this issue.

I am not seeing any homebrew subclasses either from what I have created or from the community. I have the allow homebrew selected during creation.

Are you sure the characters in question are the right level to choose a subclass?
