I'm not able to add homebrew items to one of my character sheets even when the homebrew switch is toggled on. I've tried multiple items and none of them show up when I search for them in inventory management. The items were created by the DM and other people in the campaign have no trouble accessing them.

I've even tried creating a second character sheet in the campaign to test and I couldn't get it to work there either.

Has anyone encountered this before? Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Are you sure homebrew is toggled on (red, to the right)?

Completely sure. That's what's confusing me. I've even tried toggling it off then on again.

And the character is specifically in the same campaign with the homebrews’ creator. Hmm… and the DM for sure has the items in their Homebrew Collection (not just creations)? Hmmm…. Both you and the creator might want to follow this link and make sure your account entitlements aren’t in sync: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace). If that doesn’t work, then I have to ask what items in particular types you are looking for, armor, weapons, etc., and if your character is proficient with those items? If not, but the “proficiency” box is checked then they won’t show up in the search.

I'm pretty sure it's in their collection because other players in the campaign can access it. The problem seems to be at my end. I checked that link and it says everythings in order.

It's a longbow and the character is proficient.

I'm stumped.

Try this: add a point of inspiration to your character sheet, refresh the browser page, remove the inspiration and refresh again and then try.
