So this started last night when I was just finishing up adding the 8 options to a racial trait. When I was finished, I went into a character builder to see if was functioning properly. To my surprise only one of the options appeared on the character builder. I went and looked around in the help forums to see if others were having similar problems. I tried turning off "is granted", looking between the option that worked and contrasting it to the ones that didn't, and straight up turning my computer off and waiting till morning to see if that fixed. (by turn it off I mean rest mode.) This morning when I turned it back on, it was still having the same issues.

I was downright sick of it so I went and tried to create a new Racial Trait altogether to see if I could get it to work. I went through the Basic Naming, Snippet, Description, and all other required things and hit SAVE. After I hit SAVE the entire trait wiped and made me start over. After I remade it, this time just putting a single digit in each area, It wiped again. I then went into the Race page to see if I had only just created 2 new Traits that it didn't let me start editing. They weren't there. After that, I decided to make a Variant. The creation of the Variant worked just fine but when I created the ONLY racial trait on the Variant, it wiped itself again! Which leads me to now, where I am creating this Thread. What do I do?

I'm well aware and met both of those requirements.

Are you running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or a VPN? One of those might be interfering with DDB.

To create a racial trait, all you need to fill in is the name of the trait, the description (with a 3 word minimum), and to designate the “feature type” as granted. (See image in Spoiler below.) Everything else, even the snippet field is optional. I just tested it and it worked fine for me. Try creating a racial trait again with the name “Trait Name,” the description as “Three word minimum,” and designate the Feature Type as “Granted” and see if that works. If it does you can always edit it afterwords.

 As for your Options, one or more of them must be set up incorrectly. Double check each one and then try re-saving the trait and then re-saving the whole race again.
