Exactly as the title states; I purchased a package deal that included the Players Handbook and several other related items (the website will not allow me to click on the purchase and expound upon what was contained within the aforementioned bundle, interestingly) to help get me started on the DnD Beyond platform.
Why then, are the purchases I've made through this 'deal' not being properly recognized on the Marketplace store page? Surely I own the digital key to the Player's Handbook, no? If not, Why not? It was in the contents of the bundle.
I once again find myself in a rare position to feel comfortable buying an intangible item (aka digital key) with tangible American Dollary-Doo's, and yet I find myself extremely reluctant to do so. It is very discomforting to know there is a possibility a might be made on my behalf of purchasing the same exact content without my knowledge or knowing consent.
I suspect the digital access key system is not recognizing my bundle for each digital key that it's contents correlate to, but as an entirely separate key. A key which again, will not let me see the finer details of what is contained within, just that it was a "Player's Bundle." If the bundle changes or goes away or it's contents change at a later date, how would I have any recourse or any knowledge of what I should already have? Especially since again, the Marketplace doesn't recognize my purchase of any other criteria except specifically for the "Player's Bundle" instead of what's inside it, and allows me to purchase a Player's Handbook digital access key code separately.
Trading tangible goods for an intangible object is already a loss inherent in it's nature. Purchasing an unneeded and/or otherwise unnecessary intangible object I already have? There are only so many bottom lines I am willing to cross...
If there is actually a way to view what is in the "Player's Bundle" outside of referring to the Marketplace that I now inherently do not trust, (or clicking on it in the previous purchases, or going the the tab showing the keys I have and only seeing one key code for the bundle, rather than all the individual keys that should have been contained within the purchase) then I apologize for not being able to find it. However, I don't feel the onus should be on me to find something so imperceptible if that is indeed the case.
Thank you all for reading this admittedly verbose complaint.
You don’t view the books in the marketplace, you view them in the “Source” tab, and you can also access the character options in the “Game Rules” tab and in the character builder.
The marketplace keeps presenting you the option to purchase the PHB because you can buy it as a gift for someone else.
Cool thanks again, guess my first reply got deleted or I'm making another technical faux pas. Apologies for what feels like a retrospective overreaction, especially now knowing the answer.

Nah, no worries. People get confused by this site’s system all the time. It’s not the most intuitive in a lot of ways. Happy to help.
