I noticed in leveling up my Warlock in D&D Beyond that I am unable to take the Eldritch Adept feat more than once. It isn't a matter of prerequisites or trying to get a particular invocation-- I literally do not have the option to take the feat a second time at all.
Per page 165 of the PHB on Feats: Using the optional feats rule, you can forgo taking that feature to take a feat of your choice instead. You can take each feat only once, unless the feat's description says otherwise.
Elemental Adept is the example of a feat that states you may take it multiple times. Therefore, if the Feat does not say you may take it multiple times, the limitation is once as per the RAW on the matter of Feats.

Is this by design or a bug?
Very few feats can be taken multiple times, and they explicitly say so in the text of the feat.

That feat lists no such limitation.
And yes, I was a warlock with all the necessary prerequisites.

The feat doesn’t need to specify that it can be taken only once, it’s a general rule.
